VSB Trustee Candidates’ Forum
Save the date – Tuesday October 03 – VSB Trustee Candidates forum organized by the District PAC
The city byelection on October 14 will include an opportunity to elect a nine-member board of trustees, replacing the single provincially appointed trustee who was installed when the previous elected board was fired by the Ministry of Education last year. To date sixteen candidates, including six members of the fired board, have come forward. The District PAC is hosting a candidates’ forum on October 03 (watch this space for confirmation of time and place). All parents and guardians of students in Vancouver public schools are welcome to attend.
