Spring Fair is an after school event with no supervision, and parents are responsible for their own children. Teachers, staff and the principal are not required to be there (though sometimes they attend). The school is only there to help with any issues until 3:20pm. There is no first aide offered, though there is a first aide kit in the gym kitchen. If there is a serious health issue, the staff at the day care may be called upon to help, or call 911.

DIRECT DONATION APPEAL OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2023
UPDATE: Thank you to all our generous donors. We have now reached our $5,000 fundraising goal for this Direct Donation drive!
Dear parents:
Each year Henry Hudson’s Parent Advisory Council (PAC) raises money to enhance our children’s educational experience, beyond what is made possible by public funding, through a direct donation campaign.
The money raised this year will be used to pay for items such as: classroom supplies for teachers, books for home reading, library books, field trips, special performances, gymnasium equipment, unfunded seismic upgrades and more.
Our goal this year is to raise $5000. We respectfully ask you to please consider a donation of $50 per Hudson student in your household. Any amount is welcome and a tax receipt from the Vancouver School Board will be issued for donations of $10 or more.
You can donate online via the VSB’s SchoolCash Online system (where you will receive your tax receipt immediately). For instructions on how to donate please see below.
Please be sure to make your donation by November 17, 2023.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Henry Hudson PAC Executive
