Term 1 – Fall 2017

We have an exciting roster of lunchtime and after school activities planned for Hudson this fall.
Due to the staffing changes and construction of new classrooms added over the summer holidays, we will be waiting for the dust to settle before finalising the extra curricular activities calendar for Term 1.
While the full activity calendar is still in draft mode, a couple of organisers are currently taking registrations and are willing to provide full refunds to participants if their scheduling is changed in September. We will keep you posted on the rest of the programming once we have finalised it.

Chess Club: Fridays, 3:05-4:30, Sept 28 – Dec 5, (12 sessions ) $180
Programme Description: Our comprehensive and progressive program allows students to learn how to play chess in the optimal manner by gradually increasing complexity. Within 1.5 class hour we will teach our students different chess concepts, solve a large variety of tactical exercises, play practice games and tournaments. In addition, our students can use a wide range of our own unique on-line resources and software for homework, class material and games.

Ocean Explorers: Wednesdays, 3:15-4:15, Sept 26 – Nov 14, (8 sessions) $130
Programme Description: Get your kids off screens and connected to nature! Through fun, interactive games and activities, your kids learn about the cool, amazing animals that live in our oceans. Developed by a real marine biologist, Ocean Explorer gets your kids excited about our oceans and empowers them to be environmental champions. Your kids have so much fun, they don’t even realize they’re learning outside of school (plus they’re secretly learning essential life skills like problem solving, teamwork, leadership and critical thinking).
